Court Ordered Community Service Hours: Babies & Beyond accepts, on a limited basis, volunteers who are required by a court to complete community service hours. We are happy to work with you to fulfill your community service obligations; however, please note the following:

  • We cannot accept volunteers with a past or current conviction of a violent or menacing nature, or any offense of a sexual nature.
  • Certain volunteer roles are restricted for court-mandated volunteers. Positions involving direct client contact or sensitive responsibilities will not be available for placement.
  • Volunteers must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on-site.

Before filling out paperwork or signing up for a shift, you must first contact volunteer@babiesandbeyondwi.org to provide the following information for review and approval:

  • Violation (full details, not just broad/general terms such as “disorderly conduct”)
  • Date of violation
  • Number of hours required
  • Where verification of hours must be emailed to
  • Due date for completion of hours

Please note: We cannot provide documentation for court-related (mandated or recommended) community service hours completed without prior approval.
