The services provided by Babies & Beyond heavily rely on the help of volunteers to keep going. We have several types of volunteer opportunities and would love to have you involved.
Sharing Center & Donation Center
We have several different roles and opportunities to volunteer at the Sharing Center & Donation Center.
Volunteer Roles
Sharing Center Hosts
Volunteer during our open hours by assisting at the Sharing Center check-out desk during Open Hours.
Sharing Center Hosts duties include:
- Greeting and checking clients out when they are finished shopping
- Giving them their diaper order, formula, and other items.
- Recording client formula orders, supplies and equipment distributed
Sharing Center Toyroom Helper
Help keep toyroom clean and watch and play with the children while parents are shopping during Open Hours.
Toyroom duties include:
- Interacting with the children by playing or reading
- Holding babies
- Picking up toys after children are done playing with them
Sharing Center Sorter
Volunteer as a sorter at the Sharing Center during Open Hours, either as an individual or with a group.
We also have flexible days and times available outside of Open Hours for groups.
Sharing Center Sorter duties include:
- Sorting baby items
- Restocking Sharing Center shelves
- Diaper bundling: counting, wrapping, and labeling bundles of diapers
Donation Center Host
Volunteer during our Open Hours by assisting at our Donation Center entrance, which is located at the back of the Sharing Center.
Donation Center Host duties include:
- Receiving and unloading acceptable items from vehicles
- Putting donations in pre-sort bins
- Having donors fill out receipts
- Recording diaper donations
Volunteer for the Sharing Center
New Volunteers
First time volunteers will need to fill out the form below and will receive a tour and training their first day. Once the form is filled out, go ahead and sign-up for a shift using the second link below. Please email volunteer@babiesandbeyondwi.org with any questions.
Court Ordered Community Service Hours: Babies & Beyond accepts, on a limited basis, volunteers who are required by a court to complete community service hours. We are happy to work with you to fulfill your community service obligations, but we cannot accept volunteers who have a past or current conviction of a violent or menacing nature or conviction of any offense of a sexual nature. In addition, no one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be permitted to volunteer.
Please contact volunteer@babiesandbeyondwi.org before filling out the paperwork and signing up for a shift for required information and proper placement. Please email the following information: Violation and Date, Number of Hours needed, Where does the verification need to be sent to, Due Date for Hours. We cannot provide documentation for court-related (mandated or recommended) community service hours completed without prior approval.
Bilingual volunteers also needed for our Spanish-speaking Team.
Current Volunteers

Baby Care Package & Safe Sleep Deliveries
Two of our volunteer opportunities include delivering goods to clients, either at the hospital or their homes. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, insurance and complete a background check.
Baby Care Packages
Deliver baby care packages for newborns to hospitals and homes.
Baby Care Package volunteers sign-up to be “on call” for 1 month, meaning they’ll deliver all Baby Care Packages for that month.
Safe Sleep
Deliver free Pack ‘n Play cribs and other Safe Sleep essentials to homes for the Safe Sleep program.
Safe Sleep volunteers are divided up by regions and will be matched up to deliver Safe Sleep packages close to their desired areas.
Volunteer to Make Deliveries
First time volunteers for deliveries will need to fill out paperwork, complete a background check, and receive training. Please fill out the form below to get started and email volunteer@babiesandbeyondwi.org to express your interest in this role and receive additional paperwork and instructions.
Bilingual volunteers also needed for our Spanish-speaking Team.
